Kalea Jordan’s love of music comes from a lifelong love of storytelling. The Nashville-based indie rock artist draws listeners in with her lively personality and keeps them hooked with evocative lyrics and expressive melodies. Kalea bares her soul in every song, writing about growing up in a small town and on the internet, the queer experience, mental health, love, and being an unabashed fangirl. Bittersweet and nostalgic, her sound is reminiscent of the ‘90s and ‘00s artists she was raised on, including The Fray, Avril Lavigne, and Matchbox Twenty.

Since her debut in 2020, Kalea has amassed over half a million streams with listeners around the world. 

Her recent single “anything” was described by Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Pat Alger as “the essence of good songwriting.”

She is currently working on her debut album, to be released later this year.
